I hope that you are good. This is my opportunity to let you know what i've been getting up to recently. This time of year is always very busy and this year is no exception! I am currently putting together a promo campaign that will include snippets of tracks taken from Biggroove Music's catalogue that many of you will not have heard. This will include video shorts. I am looking into working with some remixers to give new ‘flavours’ to some of my tracks. Now if you want to have a go at remixing ( you are welcome!,) but you will need to join Biggroove+  first, in order to access the stems. The plan is to put out  new stems each month and the best remixes will be featured on my official remix wall+ a mention in the monthly blog ( this is open to My CHAMPIONS and above only). You can check out what's on offer for each tier HERE 

Had to get a new laptop, my old, ancient one is starting to play up. Gone for a Macbook this time. Never had one before. Got to create some time to integrate it into my set up…

Working on a couple of tracks. I tend to work on 2 tracks at a time, which i find, keeps things nice and interesting musically.

The music industry has changed hugely over the last how ever many years. To such an extent that we currently enjoy a ‘mixed’ scenario- let me explain: do YOU think in terms of singles, tracks, downloads, albums or playlists? Interesting in today's economy they pretty much all live together side by side! As a writer/producer I still think in terms of singles and albums (even though I download tracks and have created playlists just like everyone else). I ask this because I am in the process of putting together a new album-working title: The Feel Good Machine.

 I have sorted the 12 tracks that will form this album and it got me thinking- what do you relate to these days? Artists do talk about playlists that they have  curated and feature on-of course Spotify and others platforms that allow you to create  and promote playlists. Any way for what it is worth- as previously said, I'm in the process of putting out a new album called The Feel Good Machine. This is how the internal process works for me: Once I have narrowed down the 12 tracks, I DO think in terms of a lead feature track or single to release in advance of the album, to promote the album. Even though I have created a fanbase of people interested in what I am doing ( Biggroove+) I still try to reach out to potential new fans, so I will drop a track on Spotify, Apple etc. Now members of Biggroove+ 1/ Will receive tracks like this before I post it to Spotify and other platforms 2/ Some of you will be able help me choose the promo/ single track 3/ In future, I hope to be able to encourage you guys to submit ideas for my creatives eg artwork  and videos.
